Scenic State Highway 30A stretches 18 miles from Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to Camp Helen State Park. Along this stretch are multiple communities including Grayton Beach, Seaside, Seagrove, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Spectacular white sand beaches with crystal clear water are located along the entire stretch.
The Timpoochee trail bike path runs alongside the road for the entire 18 miles, providing safe cycling for the whole family to reach the attractions in the area. Unique to this area are the 15 coastal dune lakes. These lakes are excellent for paddleboarding, swimming and even fishing.
Be sure not to miss some of the attractions away from the water. The Point Washington State Forest has up to 10 miles of trails for walking, jogging or cycling, and Eden Gardens State Park is a nice visit for a few hours.
